THE FLAT IRON is a product of the Wicker Park community and it’s history. The area has always been a haven for a variety of artist from writers to painters and everything in between. We wanted to tap that talent and give Chicago’s artists an opportunity to inspire the public that frequents our neighborhood and our bar.

The Flat Iron Building, which houses the bar, is an art colony that was established in the 1980s in a century old building at the Wicker Park epicenter of Milwaukee, North and Damen Avenues. It features visual artist and musicians of all disciplines. It has always been the hub of this hip, vibrant neighborhood.
